DETAILS ITINERARY


Day I: Pangkalan Bun Airport - Kumai - Tanjung Harapan Camp - Houseboat. (L,D)

Meeting you on arrival in Pangkalan Bun airport, then direct transfer to Kumai by airport taxi.

On arrival in Kumai direct transfer to the long-wooden boat called Klotok, and then boating down to Kumai Bay to reach Sekonyer River.

Continue boating up directly to Tanjung Harapan Camp to follow Orangutan feeding at 3 pm, if the time permitted (early flight arrival reccomended).

Lunch will be served on boat by our own cook. Enjoy the orangutan feeding in Tanjung Harapan Camp until 4 pm.

Back to the boat and boating up to see Proboscis monkeys along the riverbanks.

Proboscis Monkeys are being the endemic animal that can be seen only in Borneo island only.

Dinner and Overnight on board.


Day II: Houseboat – Pondok Tanggui – Camp Leakey – Houseboat (B,L,D)

After break fast, boating up directly to Pondok Tanggui.

This is the second rehabilitation Camp where we can see the orangutan feeding at 9 AM. 

Enjoy your times until 10 AM then back to the boat and continue the tour to reach the highlight of National Park, Camp Leakey area.

It will pass the Black River (Simpang Kanan River) which is full of wildlife such as birds, primates, fish, also crocodiles.

Lunch will be served by our own cook with various of foods.

On arrival in Camp Leakey, walk up to the camp to see the Orangutan Information Center. 

Here you could see how is the daily activities and you could learn the orangutan maternal lineage.

Then continue the tour by following orangutan feeding that start at 2 PM, enjoy your times till ±4 PM, back to the boat.

Overnight and having dinner on Board.



Day III: Houseboat – Kumai – Airport (B,L) 

After Breakfast, direct transfer to Kumai, then return back to the airport for your next destination.TOUR END.

One of the Highlights visiting Tanjung Puting National Park is river cruising in The Sekonyer River while spotting Proboscis Monkeys and other wildlife in the late afternoon from the Klotok (Long-Wooden Boat).
